Vivi is Charleston’s first Licensed Family Dog Mediator (LFDM-T) and first Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner , KPA CTP - Certification #98076.
She graduated with distinction from Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) in March 2018 and founded VivaPaws LLC (VivaPaws Training & Behavior ) on April 9th of that year. Vivi changed the name of her business to The Dog Talker LLC on August 20, 2021 to better reflect the direction she was taking the business and her evolving journey as a professional trainer and Family Dog Mediator®
Karen Pryor Academy is one of few elite schools for animal training & behavior in the world - and the leader in positive reinforcement training and clicker training.
Karen Pryor was an American behavioral biologist, author, and pioneer of modern positive reinforcement animal training - and the founder of clicker training. She wrote a number of bestsellers, in particular “Don’t Shoot The Dog”, which is one of the few books to significantly influence the growth of Positive Reinforcement training. Karen Pryor passed in 2025 at the age of 92.
The prestigious Professional Dog trainer program at KPA is a highly demanding program requiring both knowledge and skills assessment, as well as work with multiple species of animals - which gave Vivi the opportunity to train cats, and two rats at Charleston Animal Society!
In October 2021, Vivi completed Kim Brophey’s (Applied Ethologist, Certified Behavior Consultant, and author of the #1 bestselling book “Meet Your Dog” ) online course, ‘L.E.G.S.® Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation® Professional course’ and Vivi was among the first line of Certified Family Dog Mediators (FDM) in the world.
As such, Vivi is a L.E.G.S. ®Association Founding Member and a Family Dog Mediation International Ambassador! She has since become a LICENSED Family Dog Mediator in the Training Division (November 2022). Vivi is very excited to be able to help clients ‘beyond dog training’ with the knowledge gained from this very comprehensive and game-changing course!!
Vivi has also completed Michael Shikasio’s ‘Aggression in Dogs Mastercourse’ - the most comprehensive course on aggression anywhere in the world. Michael is the leading expert on aggression and Vivi continues to learn from both Kim Brophey and Michael as mentors, along with other professionals in the field.
Born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, Vivi now resides in Saint George, South Carolina with her own Miniature Schnauzers, Milo & Finn (well, sadly Milo passed in June 2025 from cancer in the liver) and loves helping dogs and their people live balanced and happy lives together. Vivi has had cats and dogs all her life and has worked extensively with shelter dogs and dog training classes, primarily with Charleston Animal Society. She has assisted in multiple Reactive Dog Classes as well.
Vivi has also has worked part-time for 1.5 years (from Feb 2021 - Sep 2022) as a consultant for an online training company that serves clients all over the US and Canada. This involved sharing her knowledge and expertise and helping hundreds of clients with anything from potty training to more serious issues like aggression, reactivity, and separation related issues. In this role, Vivi learned how to think on her feet and be able to find solutions in 30 mins intervals, back-to-back appointments, with each client.
Vivi is especially passionate about helping dogs with behavioral issues (Fear/Aggression/Anxiety). Her interest in this field springs from her studies of Psychology many years ago and her passion for helping those who struggle in one way or another. She is committed to continuing education to grow and improve as an animal trainer. She keeps up with the latest scientific studies and attends as many webinars, conferences, and courses as her time allows.
My WHY
Milo - to whom I dedicate my work with dogs.
My soulmate, my rock, my best friend is gone.
Milo Myslik Jorgensen, Canine Graduate from Karen Pryor Academy For Animal Training & Behavior 2018.
Milo passed peacefully in our home on June 24, 2025, with the help of LowCountry Pet Hospice (whom I HIGHLY recommend for Home Euthanasia!)
He only got to be 8 yrs and 8 months. He died from liver cancer.
Of course, I love, and have loved, all my dogs equally, but Milo was that special dog I got to share a special journey with - one I will never be able to share with another dog.
He was MY HEART DOG, MY SOUL DOG…
Milo started this journey with me, always by my side.
I arrived in my new country, the US, in June of 2016 and we got Milo as an 8 wk old pup in November of 2016.
He helped me settle. He healed my then broken heart. We were both new in all of this - TOGETHER.
He then became my training partner at Karen Pryor Academy in 2017-18 and the very reason I passed the exam to become a Professional Certified Dog Trainer and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner.
He and I travelled to workshops in Orlando, FL. 4 times and the was the BEST travel companion I could ever wish for!!
He made me beyond PROUD!!
He loved people, all people. Dogs, not so much, but he would generally tolerate them, as long as they respected his space. He preferred to be with people, or just sit alone in his yard watching everything.
He was independent, proud. He was gentle, and he had the sweetest soul.
When Milo was ok, I was ok. Now, I don’t know how to be ok.
He is forever missed and forever loved by his family, and our other Schnauzer, Finn.
The Dog Talker LLC would not exist, if not for Milo!

Finn Myslik Jorgensen, Skilled frog, bunny & bird hunter
Finn is a TALKER - with an attitude!
He barks at every person and animal, anything that moves….. and won’t tolerate any nonsense!
We jokingly say if he was human, he would be the guy at the bar always picking a fight any time someone would say something he didn’t like…lol. He has a fearful/anxious disposition but is a very loving and FUN little fella to those he loves.
He loves to chase squirrels, rabbits, frogs, and birds in his yard and will tell them where to go…if he doesn’t catch them! He is a BIG Terrier for sure! He has great ball possession and is faster than lightning, and although he is not a Retriever, he is great at bringing the ball back and forth!
He is Vivi’s first reactive dog and a work in progress but very loved by us all.
